Garry Marshall Celebrates Valentine’s Day

Variety is reporting that New Line Cinema has hired Garry Marshall (Pretty Woman, The Princess Diaries) to direct Valentine’s Day, a comedy about 10 people in Los Angeles whose lives intersect on the romantic holiday. Based on a screenplay by Katherine Fugat and rewritten by Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein, writers of this Friday’s new romantic comedy He’s Just Not That Into You, the film is being fasttracked with hopes for a release on Valentine’s Day 2010.
