The first time I reported on Chris D’Arienzo’s Barry Munday was back in December of 2005 at which time Luke Wilson, Emily Mortimer, Colin Hanks, Jennifer Coolidge, Billy Dee Williams and Amy Adams were set to star. Since then everyone went their separate ways and D’Arienzo had a cast to fill once again. Well, he has started and his first choice is Patrick Wilson.
The pic is based on Frank Turner Hollon’s novel “Life Is a Strange Place,” and is about an incorrigible womanizer (Wilson) who wakes up sans his family jewels after being attacked with a trumpet by an irate father. He soon learns he’s been named in a paternity suit.
The pic is described as a romantic comedy and filming is set to begin Los Angeles in April.
Wilson recently wrapped his role in Warner’s Watchmen.
