Heath Ledger’s death has raised the awareness on a film that typically wouldn’t be so focused on, but we can’t help what makes the world turn which now means Terry Gilliam’s Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is now a rather high profile film. Just prior to the weekend half of the first picture from the film was revealed only to allow for the full image to hit the web via the film’s official site. I added the still to the gallery, but I never did a write up to make sure you were all aware… I am rectifying that right now.
The first still is hardly anything to get excited about, I think the real interest here is the fact that the promotion of the film is still continuing despite the fact that we haven’t heard of an official solution as to how the movie is going to move forward now that its star is deceased and only half the film is in the can. There have been plenty of rumors, but nothing concrete so far.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is a fantastical morality tale, set in the present day. It tells the story of Dr Parnassus and his extraordinary ‘Imaginarium’, a travelling show where members of the audience get an irresistible opportunity to choose between light and joy or darkness and gloom.
