As far as music is concerned I have spent most of 2007 listening to various soundtracks as I redesigned the site and wrote up my articles and reviews. It is always much easier to write when you have only music in the background without lyrics. Therefore I bring you my favorite soundtrack/scores of the year plus the one CD outside of the movies I think you should buy for someone that appreciates real music from a real musician.
To go along with your musical presents I offer up a couple of other suggestions.
First off Apple has a way for you to create a playlist in the iTunes store, purchase the songs (typically for $1 each) and then send it out via e-mail. Of course this thing is good for just about every occasion, but if you are scrambling for time this might not be a bad way to go. Uh, can you say the mix-tape of the future? (Apple iTunes)
