TOP TEN: Stephen King Film Adaptations

This is no surprise, not to anyone (at least I don’t think so). The Shawshank Redemption is probably as far away from the perceived Stephen King genre by the public, but to many of King’s fans it is just one more example of how the man can span several genres. In fact, along with The Green Mile and The Running Man, this is the third film on this list that is not a horror.

With the upcoming release of The Mist, Frank Darabont has now adapted and directed three King adaptations. He also takes ownership for The Green Mile. So far he has proven to be aligned with King’s works and delivered on his first two, I hope he continues his success…
