Lakeshore entertainment has added three more names to their feature film adaptation of Philip Roth’s novella Dying Animal. Joining already cast Penelope Cruz, Ben Kingsley and Patricia Clarkson are Peter Sarsgaard, Dennis Hopper and Deborah Harry. Isabel Coixet is aboard to direct with filming set to begin next month in Vancouver.
The story follows a grad student, portrayed by Cruz, who gets tangled up in an erotic affair with her professor, played by Kingsley, then returns years later with a revelation.
