Variety is reporting that Gabriel Macht is set to star oppositer Kate Beckinsale in Whiteout for Swordfish director Dominic Sena. Joining Macht are Tom Skerritt and Columbus Short.
The action-thriller revolves around a lone U.S. marshal assigned to Antarctica who has three days to solve a murder mystery before the continent’s dark winter begins. Macht plays a U.N. operative who is also investigating the murder.
Warner Bros. will distribute the film domestically with shooting underway in Canada.
