Jennifer Garner is teaming with Stuber/Parent’s Scott Stuber and Mary Parent to produce and perhaps star in “Devil in the Junior League,” an adaptation of Linda Francis Lee’s book.
The film is set up at Universal Pictures and revolves around a stuffy Southern socialite whose husband disappears with another woman — and her fortune. She turns to a lawyer who says he’ll help in exchange for helping his flashy, less-than-appropriate wife get into the Junior League.
Garner is producing through her Vandalia Films along with her partner Juliana James. Vandalia is also producing Be With You and Sabbatical both for Garner to star.
Garner will next be seen in Peter Berg’s The Kingdom this September.
