The Broadcast Film Critics Association’s 12th Annual Critics Choice Awards were held Friday night and the group has weighed in with their picks and Warner Bros. Pictures’ The Departed came out on top and took the group’s Best Picture bid for 2006.
The big winners for the night were Dreamgirls as they took both Supporting nods and Best Song, Little Miss Sunshine took home four awards for Ensemble Cast, writer, and young actor and actress. There were no huge surprises, but it does get things started off as the Golden Globes will be held tonight at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Beverly Hills, CA and you better believe we will have FULL coverage, so stay tuned for more on that.
