Yeah, Mandy Moore was part of that tween-pop craze, but somewhere between then and now she seems to have become a viable actress starring in five films over the past three years and set to star in no less than six already in the coming two years, and now we can add one more to that list.
Variety is reporting that Moore and James McAvoy are in final talks to star in the thriller Twist of Fate for helmer Jennifer Elster.
From a screenplay penned by Wendy Riss, the story revolves around a couple whose livers are upended after a hit-and-run accident.
The film is set to begin shooting in May and the plan is to present it to buyers at the upcoming Berlin Film Festival, which opens on February 9th.
If you want more Moore you can keep your eye out for American Dreamz and Southland Tales, both of which hit theaters later this year. And if you keep a really keen eye out you will find the $450,000, 4-carat princess-cut diamond-and-platinum Neil Lane engagement ring she is reportedly sporting after actor Zach Braff proposed to the 21 year-old recently with plans to marry in April 2007.
