2006 Fox Preview: PART DEUX

Well, I guess Fox wasn’t done with their previews as I have added a bunch of new pics for several 20th Century Fox 2006 films including X-Men 3, Bandidas, Just My Luck and The Omen 666, but that is just the tip of the ice berg. Head on down to check it all out.

DATE MOVIE

(February 17)

The twisted minds behind Scary Movie – screenwriters Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg – this time skewer the romantic comedy genre. The new film tells the story of hopeless romantic Julia Jones (Hannigan), who has finally met the man of her dreams, the very British Grant Fockyerdoder (Campbell). But before they can have their “Big Fat Greek Wedding,” they’ll have to “Meet the Parents;” hook-up with “The Wedding Planner,” and contend with Grant’s friend Andy – a spectacularly beautiful woman who wants to put an end to her “Best Friend’s Wedding.”
DR. DOLITTLE 3

(February 17)

It’s Dr. Dolittle – the next generation! Maya Dolittle, the Doctor’s youngest daughter, has inherited her father’s gift for talking to animals, but so far it’s brought her nothing but trouble. So, Maya heads to Durango summer camp to get in touch with her abilities. To save the financially-troubled camp, Maya realizes that she must use her gift with the animals to help the ranch train to win the rodeo. Along the way, she finds love with a handsome camp counselor.
AQUAMARINE

(March 3)

Following a violent storm, a beautiful and sassy mermaid named Aquamarine washes ashore and into the lives of two teenage girls. After Aquamarine falls for a local, hunky lifeguard, she enlists the girls’ help to win his heart.
JUST MY LUCK

(May 12)

In this comedy, Lindsay Lohan plays Ashley, a young professional just out of college. She also happens to be the luckiest woman in the world, who has lived a super-charmed life and has always taken her good luck for granted. When she kisses a handsome stranger (played by Chris Pine) at a costume party, Ashley accidentally swaps her good fortune for his horribly bad luck, and her charmed life turns into a living hell.
X-MEN 3

(May 26)

This new chapter in the X-Men motion picture franchise reveals more secrets and introduces a host of new characters. The non-stop action culminates in the ultimate showdown between good and evil.
THE OMEN 666

(June 6)

Fear the date – 6/6/06 – when The Omen 666 opens in theaters nationwide. A remake of the 1976 horror classic, the new film takes the tale of the coming of the antichrist – personified as a young boy named Damien – to an even more thrilling and visceral level.
PATHFINDER

(TBA 2006)

Pathfinder tells the story of a young Viking boy left behind by his people in North America (which the Vikings had visited hundreds of years before Columbus). A stranger in a strange land, the boy is raised by a tribe of American Indians – the very people the Vikings had sworn to destroy. When Vikings again storm the eastern shores, waging a barbaric campaign, they slaughter the tribe that adopted the young man. Now age 25, he wages a violent personal war to stop the Viking’s trail of death and destruction.
THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA

(June 30)

Based on the best-selling novel, The Devil Wears Prada stars two-time Academy Award winner Meryl Streep as high-powered fashion magazine editor Miranda Priestly, and Anne Hathaway, as Miranda’s new assistant – a small-town girl trying to survive her impossibly demanding new boss.
MY SUPER EX-GIRLFRIEND

(July 14)

Everyone’s had a painful parting of the ways with a romantic partner. We pick up the pieces and move on. But for one New York guy, it’s not going to be so easy. When he breaks up with his girlfriend, he discovers his ex is actually the reluctant superhero, G-Girl. A scorned woman, she unleashes her super powers to humiliate and torment him. My Super Ex-Girlfriend stars Uma Thurman as Jenny Johnson, aka G-Girl and Luke Wilson as Matt Saunders, her beleaguered boyfriend. Anna Faris is Hannah, Matt’s co-worker. Rainn Wilson is Vaughn, Matt’s best friend and Eddie Izzard is Professor Bedlam, G-Girl’s arch nemesis.
UNTITLED IDT ENTERTAINMENT PROJECT

(August 25)

In this computer-generated animated feature, on which Christopher Reeve was the original director before his passing, a boy travels across the country on a mission to return Babe Ruth’s bat before the deciding game of the 1932 World Series. Along the way, he meets a quirky array of characters that aid him on his comic journey.

NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM

(December 22)

Good-hearted dreamer Larry Daley (Ben Stiller), despite being perpetually down on his luck, thinks he’s destined for something big. But even he could never have imagined how “big,” when he accepts what appears to be a menial job as a graveyard-shift night watchman at a museum of natural history. But during Larry’s watch, something extraordinary happens: the museum’s exhibits magically come to life. A fearsome T-Rex insists on a game of fetch (with one of his own skeleton bones); Mayans, Roman Gladiators, and cowboys emerge from their diorama to wage epic battles; and a wax figure of Teddy Roosevelt gives Larry important advice while harboring a crush for an Indian princess. As things spiral wildly out of control, Larry must find a way to control the magic to stop a nefarious plot and save the museum.
