The Hollywood Reporter tells us that Gabriel Macht, Tom Everett Scott, Lauren Graham and Piper Perabo have all joined the cast of Because I Said So, which sets them opposite Diane Keaton and Mandy Moore for director Michael Lehman.
Universal Pictures is set to distribute the film domestically as it features Diane Keaton as a meddling mother who, in order to prevent her youngest daughter (Moore) from following in her footsteps, attempts to set her up with the right man.
The film was penned by Jessie Nelson and Karen Leigh Hopkins. Macht and Scott will play male suitors, while Graham and Perabo will play sisters of Moore’s character.
The film starts shooting Monday in Los Angeles.
