Variety is reporting that Elisabeth Shue has just joined Jim Carrey in the Joel Schumacher directed thriller The Number 23 for New Line Cinema.
The film is a paranoid thriller in which a man (Carrey) becomes obsessed and haunted upon reading a book that seems to be about his life but ends with a murder. As for the number 23, it is woven throughout the plot.
There was no word on when shooting was set to begin.
