According to Variety Gwyneth Paltrow is keeping it in the family as her brother, Jake Paltrow, is set to direct his fist feature length film and she will star in the film along with Martin Freeman and Simon Pegg. The film in discussion here is The Good Night, a romantic comedy that was also written by Jake.
Good Night concerns a man’s search for perfection in a world where life rarely measures up to the idealized images that constantly bombard us. The film is set in New York, but will begin filming on November 7 in London’s Ealing Studios.
Pegg and Platrow will be playing supporting roles while Freeman will play a former pop star now reduced to writing advertising jingles amid an early midife crisis.
