Last year Toronto put together a good showing, but this year it looks like the Toronto Film Festival will take all the marbles and we now have looks at The World’s Fastest Indian and River Queen, check out the details below, the names might not sound familiar, but the casts will.
The World’s Fastest Indian centers on the life of Burt Monro, a New Zealander who invested several decades building a 1920 Indian motorcycle. He then traveled to the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, where he set the land-speed world record in the 1970s.

River Queen depicts the story of Sarah O’Brien, an Irish immigrant to New Zealand, who becomes caught in the middle of the land wars between the European settlers and Maoris, by the Wanganui River. Kiefer Sutherland plays the leader of the European settlers (from Britain), whilst Cliff Curtis and Temuera Morrison play leaders of the Maori tribes.
