‘Alpha’ May Be Delayed

Back in April the problems surrounding Alpha Dog were monetary, now it seems that the law will play a part in ensuring the film takes a bit longer to hit the big screen.

According to MRIB via Yahoo!, the lawyer acting for Jesse James Hollywood says the film may prejudice his client’s trial. Since it depicts Hollywood as the murderous leader of a gang that kidnapped and tortured Californian youths, the lawyer may well have a point.

The film stars a boat load of names such as Emile Hirsch, Bruce Willis, Sharon Stone and Justin Timberlake and is being directed by Nick Cassavetes for New Line Cinema, and as you may have suspected a release date is still up in the air.

As far as the storyline goes, the above says the majority of it as the drama is based on the life of Jesse James Hollywood, a drug dealer who became one of the youngest men ever to be on the FBI’s most wanted list.

The judge will rule on the lawyer’s request next week.
