I have no idea how easy of a sell it must have been when someone brought up the idea of putting Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz together in a Mexican western it must not have been too hard.
In Bandidas two women (Cruz and Hayek), one a European-educated sophisticate, the other a rough-and-tumble peasant — reluctantly join forces to fight a ruthless enforcer… by becoming celebrated bank robbers.
Thanks to the official site for the French production company EuropaCorp we have come across some goodies and while I don’t understand a word on the site, I do understand what I have found and that is posters and pics for not only Bandidas, but also a couple of Jason Statham vehicles, one of which being the Guy Richie directed Revolver, the other The Transporter 2. Then finally at the end of the list is the Tommy Lee Jones directed drama The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada.
