SuperHeroHype! is carrying the story out of Leeds United that Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels star Vinnie Jones is set for the role of Juggernaut in X-Men 3 for director Matthew Vaughn.
Jones told Leeds United, “I have X-Men 3 to film and that will take six months or so, so I think I might be a bit busy.”
Jones was also quoted telling SuperHeroHype!, “what’s interesting about Juggernaut is that he’s the brother of Professor X, and that’s why I thought it would be interesting having an English thug opposite Patrick Stewart.”
Another little interesting tidbit from this story is that Vinnie Jones’ personal website says that he is not only filming X-Men 3 in August, but that he will also be in “4 & 5 if they make them.”
