As if we weren’t quite sure if studios were making films primarily for the almighty dollar pushing good storylines aside and only banking on the fact that kids will drag their parents to see anything 20th Century Fox is moving forward with Garfield 2, the follow-up to the critically lambasted 2004 flick.
Already set to direct is Tim Hill, but casting was not announced, so it is unsure if Breckin Meyer, Jennifer Love-Hewitt and Bill Murray will be returning for their roles in the film.
One thing that is known however is that the film is already scheduled for a July 28, 2006 release.
