Rock-in and Reynolds-in?

Talk about mixin’ and matchin’. Two fellas whose careers seem to be taking off as of late, The Rock and Ryan Reynolds are set to star in the action-comedy Ride Along.

The Rock has already proved his comedic chops opposite Seann William Scott in The Rundown and now he is set opposite another funnyman in Reynolds as the film finds The Rock as a tough cop who tries to halt a budding romance between his sister and a fellow schoolteacher.

Reynolds will most likely be playing the schoolteacher in question, it was also mentioned that Roger Kumble will be directing the picture. Kumble is also directing Reynolds in the romantic-comedy Just Friends. Kumble is also doing a rewrite of the Greg Coolidge script to tailor the pic to the stars.
