Robbins and Bloom on the Oscar Scene

Okay, so I skipped the Bloom announcement, but I am attaching it here as Tim Robbins and Orlando Bloom have both been added to the list of presenters for the 77th Academy Awards.

Robbins received his first acting Oscar last year at the 76th Academy Awards, for his supporting role in Mystic River. In 1995, he received a nomination for directing Dead Man Walking. Robbins is currently filming War of the Worlds and will be seen next in The Secret Life of Words.

Bloom next starts production on the sequel to Pirates of the Caribbean Best known from The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Bloom will be seen next in Ridley Scott’s Kingdom of Heaven and Cameron Crowe’s Elizabethtown.

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2004 will be presented on Sunday, February 27, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland. The Oscars will be televised live by the ABC Television Network at 5 p.m. PST / 8p.m. EST, beginning with a half-hour arrivals segment.
