As for “The Witch’s Children” the production company has set a deal with Warner Bros. Pictures to turn the children’s book penned by Ursula Jones and illustrator Russell Ayto into a feature film.
The book follows the misadventures caused when the magic of several witches-in-training goes off half-cocked, but a new storyline was concocted by scribe Aline Brosh McKenna, which begs the question; What happens when a single-mother witch decamps from her magical and somewhat morally suspect realm to raise her brood in the safer, more kid-friendly suburbs?
