The 62nd Golden Globe Awards Nominations Announced

ON

The nominees have been announced for the 62nd Annual Golden GLobe Awards. The nominees were announced this morning at 5:30 AM and the quirky comedy/drama Sideways leads the way as it brought in seven total nominations closely followed by the Howard Hughes biopic The Aviator, with six.

Charlize Theron also finds herself back in Globe running as she earned herself a nom for the Peter Sellers biopic, which aired on HBO The Life and Death of Peter Sellers, which itself also saw television noms for Best Mini-Series, Actor and a second Supporting nod to Emmy Rossum along with Theron.

Another blast from the past is William Shatner pulling in a nomination for his part in the television show “Boston Legal.” Shatner won an Emmy earlier this year for his part in “The Practice,” who knows he might be adding more gold to his mantle next year.
