Variety says that Jackie Chan has started work on his latest film, which has the English working title Junior Soldiers. Filming is expected to begin early next year.
The trade says the project is essentially a road movie in period costume set during the Qin dynasty. Underdog Knight helmer Ding Sheng will direct.
Chan will produce, star and write the screenplay, which focuses on three people and a horse.
