Jean Reno has joined Universal comedy Couples Retreat, which is about to go into production, reports Variety. Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau star.
The story follows four couples who go to a tropical island resort, where they discover that participation in the resort’s couples therapy is not optional.
Reno will play a therapist and operator of the resort.
Favreau wrote the comedy that Peter Billingsley is directing. Jason Bateman, Kristen Bell, Malin Akerman, Kristin Davis and Faizon Love round out the cast.
Reno co-stars in upcoming The Pink Panther 2 and Armored.
