Wayne McClammy has signed on to direct the revenge comedy Beat Kip for Paramount Vantage, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“Kip” tells the story of three buddies who travel across the country to confront an Ivy League nemesis who stole one of the guys’ girlfriends. Comedy Central is producing.
Vantage, which recently merged into Paramount proper with attendant staff downsizing, optioned Todd Waldman and Rob Kerkovich’s original screenplay in March.
McClammy is the segment producer on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” who this year directed and co-wrote the popular short video spoofs “I’m F**king Matt Damon” and “I’m F**king Ben Affleck.”
