Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi, and features a new generation of swashbuckling heroes and shadowy villains, as well as the return of fan-favorite smugglers, princesses, and Jedi.

Abrams-directed film will debut in theaters on December 18, 2015.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be followed on December 16, 2016 by Star Wars Anthology: Rogue OneStar Wars: Episode VIII on May 26, 2017, and the Han Solo anthology movie on May 25, 2018. No release dates have been announced for Star Wars: Episode IX and the third anthology movie.

If you’d like to see even more Star Wars: The Force Awakens costumes close up, be sure to check out our coverage from the Star Wars Celebration earlier this year. There, a special exhibit showed off a number of different Force Awakens costumes, including a Flametrooper!

The D23 Expo continues to run through this Sunday, August 14 and ComingSoon.net is on the scene for the entire event. Check back for updates straight from the Anaheim Convention center.
