2929 Prods. has acquired A Forest of Mirrors, a fact-based spy thriller script by Jeremy Gough that Anand Tucker will direct, reports Variety.
Andrew Lauren and P. Jennifer Dana of Andrew Lauren Prods. will produce with Andy Peterson, Tucker’s Archer Street Films partner. 2929 owners Todd Wagner and Mark Cuban will be executive producers along with 2929 president Marc Butan.
Inspired by a true story, the film is a ’60s spy thriller about a CIA agent who travels to Guatemala to investigate his brother’s death and uncovers a conspiracy that threatens to turn the tide of the Cold War.
