Jorge Camara, President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, has announced the timetable for “The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards” to be telecast Sunday, January 11, 2009 from 8-11 PM (EST) live from The Beverly Hilton on NBC.
Key dates are as follows:
Friday, October 31, 2008 – Final date for press conferences for Television entries
Friday, November 7, 2008 – Deadline for submission of Golden Globe entry forms
Wednesday – November 26, 2008 – Deadline for nomination ballots to be mailed by Ernst & Young to all HFPA members
Saturday, December 6, 2008 – Final screening date for Motion Pictures
Sunday, December 7, 2008 – Final date for Motion Picture press conferences
Monday, December 8, 2008 – Deadline for receipt by Ernst & Young of nomination ballots
Thursday, December 11, 2008 – 5:00 a.m. Nomination announcement of “The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards”
Friday, December 12, 2008 – Deadline for receipt of media credential applications
Monday, December 22, 2008 – Final ballots mailed by Ernst & Young to all HFPA members
Wednesday, December 31, 2008 – Deadline for receipt of publicist credential applications
Wednesday, January 7, 2009 – Deadline for receipt by Ernst & Young of final ballots
Sunday, January 11, 2009 – Presentation of “The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards” Live telecast on NBC Television at 8 p.m. EST
“The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards” will be seen in more than 150 countries worldwide and is one of the few awards ceremonies that span both television and motion picture achievements. The special will be produced by Dick Clark Productions in association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
