Lionsgate has provided us with the first two photos from writer/director Frank Miller’s adaptation of Will Eisner’s comic, The Spirit, opening in theaters on January 16. The photos feature Samuel L. Jackson as The Octopus and Scarlett Johansson as Silken Floss. Gabriel Macht, Eva Mendes, Sarah Paulson, Paz Vega, Jaime King, Dan Lauria, Stana Katic, Johnny Simmons and Louis Lombardi co-star.
