Sam Claflin Returns as William for The Huntsman

Despite Kristen Stewart not returning to reprise her title role from Snow White and the Huntsman, it seems like almost everyone else from the cast is coming back for The Huntsman, including (via TheWrap) Sam Claflin, who portrayed her love interest William and will have a small role in the spin-off prequel.

Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron will return as the titular Huntsman and Ravenna, with the focus being on their characters before the arrival of Snow White, and they’re joined by Emily Blunt and Jessica Chastain along with Nick Frost, Rob Brydon, Alexandra Roach and Sheridan Smith as dwarves.

The Huntsman will be directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan from a script by Frank Darabont, Craig Mazin and Evan Spilliotopoulos. The film is scheduled for a release on April 22, 2016.

Claflin will next be seen in the blockbuster The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, the screwball British comedy Their Finest Hour and a Half, and is rumored for a role in Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One, for which he auditioned.
