2015 MTV Movie Awards Nominations Announced

The 2015 MTV Movie Awards are one of the few awards season pageants where the viewers actually get to vote for the winners. Earning a golden popcorn may not be the most prestigious prize in town, but it’s a lot more fun than a Palm d’Or.

Leading this year’s nominees are Guardians of the Galaxy, The Fault in Our Stars and Neighbors, with the cherubic Ansel Elgort and funny man Seth Rogen tied for individual nominations with five each. Amy Schumer, star of Judd Apatow’s upcoming Trainwreck, will host this year’s show live on Sunday, April 12 at 8/7c on MTV, with fans able to vote for their favorites at MovieAwards.MTV.com through April 11.
