Timothy Olyphant (Hitman, Live Free or Die Hard) will topline A Perfect Getaway for Relativity Media. Variety says MGM will distribute the action-thriller.
David Twohy (The Fugitive) has signed on to direct from a screenplay he wrote. The story centers on a newlywed couple who encounter two strange hikers.
Relativity’s Ryan Kavanaugh is producing alongside Tucker Tooley and Robbie Brener. John Davis, Bill Block and Kimberly Fox are executive producing.
The project starts shooting March 17 in Puerto Rico.
