Samuel L. Jackson in Talks to Join Tim Burton’s Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children

Jackson would play the key role of Barron, a new character who hasn’t been revealed as good or bad.  Eva Green, who appeared in Burton’s Dark Shadows, will play the title character while Asa Butterfield (Hugo) is also one of the leads.

Adapted by Jane Goldman, Matthew Vaughn’s collaborator on films like Kick-Ass and the upcoming Kingsmen: The Secret Service (also starring Jackson), the film is being produced by 20th Century Fox with Chernin Entertainment for its planned release date of March 4, 2016.

After The Secret Service, Jackson will be seen in the summer blockbuster Avengers: Ave of Ultron, and is currently shooting his latest collaboration with Quentin Tarantino, the Western The Hateful Eight
