Directed by Michael Apted and based on a screenplay by Peter O’Brien, Unlocked also stars Academy Award winner Michael Douglas (Behind the Candelabra, And So It Goes), Orlando Bloom (The Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean), John Malkovich (Burn After Reading, “Crossbones”) and Toni Collette (The Way, Way Back, Burn After Reading). The story follows a CIA interrogator (Rapace), who unwittingly provides information to terrorists and then must race against the clock to stop a biological warfare attack on London.
Producers on Unlocked include Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Georgina Townsley and Erik Howsam. Claudia Blumhuber is also producing as well as financing through Silver Reel. Bloom is handling international sales in Berlin/EFM this week.
