Summit Remaking Thriller Seven Days

Summit Entertainment has acquired rights South Korean thriller Seven Days from Korea’s Prime Entertainment.

“Days,” which opened Wednesday in Korea, stars Yun-jin Kim (“Lost”) as a lawyer who must free a convicted killer in just one week or else see her kidnapped daughter murdered.

Prime said Summit intends to begin filming the remake, which will be made with the participation of France’s Wild Bunch Distribution, in 2008. Seo-yull Lee and Shang-han Shin of Prime are executive producing with Vincent Maraval and Agnes Mentre of Wild Bunch.
