Nominations for the 20th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA)–of which ComingSoon.net’s Edward Douglas is a member–announced their nominations for their 20th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, the winners of which will be announced on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from a ceremony at the Hollywood Palladium, hosted by Michael Strahan. The awards will be broadcast live on A&E for the first time, starting at 9 p.m. Eastern, 6 p.m. Pacific. 

Special awards will be given at the show to Kevin Costner, who will receive the  Lifetime Achievement Award, while Ron Howard will receive the Louis XIII Critics’ Choice Genius Award and Jessica Chastain, a Best Supporting Actress nominee for A Most Violent Year, will receive the newly-created Critics’ Choice MVP Award.
