Screenwriter Justin Ware has sold Fox Atomic an original pitch titled Wake Up Call. “Smallville” creators Al Gough and Miles Millar are on board to produce.
The project — a high-concept comedy along the lines of Wedding Crashers — becomes the fifth that Ware has written that is either in development or production, including Adrenaline, Amazing Girls, Handymen and the recently wrapped American Summer.
Recent projects for Gough and Millar include penning the screenplay for The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, set for release on August 1, 2008.
