Arielle Kebbel (The Grudge 2, pictured) and Emily Browning (Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events) will star in DreamWorks Pictures’ A Tale of Two Sisters.
They join Elizabeth Banks and David Strathairn in the remake of Kim Jee-Woon’s 2003 Korean horror film. The plot revolves around two sisters who return home to their father (Strathairn) after spending time in a mental institution. Their recovery is hindered by their cruel stepmother’s (Banks) obsessiveness and an interfering ghost.
The film, directed by Tom and Charles Guard, starts shooting in July in Vancouver.
