Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor in Talks for Violent Night Director’s Shark Movie

Violent Night director Tommy Wirkola is set to bring a shark movie to Sony, and Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor is in talks to star in it.

There are few details on the film, but it is billed as a thriller, which suits Wirkola’s genre head style.

Phoebe Dynevor to swim With Sharks for Wirkola

Wirkola helmed the 2022 festive action movie Violent Night starring David Harbour, but the Norwegian director is probably best known for the Nazi zombie horror comedy Dead Snow. His other films include Red vs. Dead, The Trip, and What Happened to Monday.

Before this shark project starts swimming, Wirkola has his animated debut to get out the door with the musical feature film Spermageddon.

Phoebe Dynevor is best known as Daphne Bridgerton in the raunchy period Netflix show Bridgerton, but her other films include Fair Play and upcoming projects such as Neil Burger’s Inheritance and Anniversary, in which she’ll star alongside Diane Lane, Zoey Deutch, and Dylan O’Brien.

Production on the film is set to begin in Australia during the summer. Adam McKay and Kevin Messick will produce the shark movie under their Hyperobject Industries banner.
