A24 has released the final trailer for Civil War, which arrives in theaters on April 12, 2024.
Touted as “the movie event of the year,” Civil War’s final trailer teases violence, explosions, and conflict in a fractured America.

Who is involved in Civil War?
Kirsten Dunst stars Lee, a war photojournalist covering the Second American Civil War. Wagner Moura, Cailee Spaeny, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Sonoya Mizuno, and Nick Offerman also star.
“In the near future, a team of journalists travel across the United States during the rapidly escalating Second American Civil War that has engulfed the entire nation, between the American government and the separatist ‘Western Forces’ led by Texas and California,” the official synopsis reads. “The film documents the journalists struggling to survive during a time when the U.S. Government has become a dystopian dictatorship and partisan extremist militias regularly commit war crimes.”
Civil War is written and directed by Alex Garland. Producers include Gregory Goodman, Andrew Macdonald, and Allon Reich. Civil War is A24’s most expensive film ever, with a rumored budget of $50 million. Box office tracking for Civil War has the action film at $18 million to $24 million for its opening weekend.
