Vudu has made Criterion’s mammoth Godzilla Showa Era Collection available to buy digitally for the first time.
Godzilla Showa Era Collection Stomps Onto Digital
The 15-movie set is an impressive and expensive collection that captures the first two decades of the world’s most famous radioactive lizard. As someone who owns the physical version, I can’t recommend it enough to kaiju fans, but Vudu has given a cheaper alternative with this option to buy every film from 1954’s seminal debut to 1975’s Terror of Mechagodzilla in a convenient digital package.
Vudu currently has the complete digital set for $99.99, less than half the RRP for the physical set (when not on sale itself).
