I Live Here Now First-Look Image Previews Psychological Horror Movie

The upcoming psychological horror movie I Live Here Now, starring Lucy Fry (Wolf Creek) and Madeline Brewer (The Handmaid’s Tale), has just unveiled its first-look image. According to Screen Daily, the movie is set to begin worldwide sales at the European Film Market this February.

The newly released image did not give anything away about what audiences can expect from the psychological horror, which will serve as Julie Pacino’s directorial debut. The report added that I Live Here Now has already wrapped production, so we can expect more updates in the following weeks.

Pacino shared the image through her X (formerly Twitter) account. You can check it out below.

Both Brewer and Fry are no strangers to starring in a number of horror/thriller projects, with the former having appeared in Cam, Separation, Shining Girls, The Deleted, and Hemlock Grove. On the other hand, Fry has starred in Night Teeth, The Darkness, and She’s Missing. She also appeared in the television spin-off to the Wolf Creek movies, which starred John Jarratt as the merciless killer.

I Live Her Now will also star Twin Peaks’ Sheryl Lee and comedian Matt Rife

What is I Live Here Now about?

Although other details about the project remain close to the vest, it is expected to center on a woman (played by Fry), who is trapped in an isolated hotel where she will be bombarded with “violent echoes” from her past.

“The psychological horror follows a woman who finds herself trapped in a remote hotel where the violent echoes of her past come alive, blurring the lines between her darkest nightmares and the waking world,” the synopsis reads.

In a statement, Pacino teased that audiences who would be seeing the movie in the future would be in for a “wild ride.”

“I Live Here Now explores fear and discomfort through the eyes of a woman who has been conditioned by societal restraints to disconnect from her own body. I hope this movie can create a unifying experience and entertain anyone who watches it. It’s a wild ride and I can’t wait to share it,” said Pacino.
