What is This Tempting Madness about?

This Tempting Madness, based on a true story, is described as an “elevated psychological thriller” chronicling the tale of a woman who has just awoken from a coma. With her memory shattered, Ashley’s character will attempt to piece together all the memories she can recall, which only leads her to question her own understanding of reality.

Ashley has been making a name for herself these past few years, with roles in various films and television shows, including Detective Pikachu, Sex Education, The Sister, Broadchurch, and C.B. Strike. She also appeared as Ariel’s sister, Indira, in the live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid.

Although known for her portrayal of Olivia Hanan in Netflix’s BAFTA-winning teen series Sex Education, Ashley’s career reached new heights when she appeared in the second season of Bridgerton, opposite Jonathan Bailey‘s Viscount Anthony Bridgerton.

Apart from This Tempting Madness’ plot and Ashley’s character — whose name is yet to be unveiled — nothing much has been revealed yet about the upcoming film, including the rest of the cast or the exact release date.
