Judgment of the Dead Will Give the Possession Horror Movie an Egyptian Flavor

Egyptian actor Mohamed Karim is teaming up with Hit Man producer AGC Studios for Egyptian possession thriller Judgment of the Dead, with AGC co-producing alongside Karim’s MK Global Entertainment.

Possession With an Egyptian Twist

Karim will produce and star in Judgement of the Dead, playing Dr. Sherif Hawass, a renowned Egyptologist who must save the world, and the woman he loves, after an artifact he unearths releases an ancient evil. Thomas M. Hewlett penned the screenplay for Judgement of the Dead based on an original idea by Karim.

A highly-revered star in the Middle East, Karim has featured in Western action fare with the likes of Nicolas Cage and Bruce Willis. He’s also hosted the Arab language version of singing talent show The Voice.

Judgement of the Dead was originally announced with the title Book of Chaos, and had Dark Castle behind it.

AGC have previous in the horror genre, backing the Neill Blomkamp movie Demonic, and more recently, the upcoming David Dastmalchian talk show horror Late Night With the Devil.
