Harry Styles MCU Return as Starfox/Eros Teased by Eternals Producer

Harry Styles’ MCU Future Addressed by Kevin Feige

Harry Styles appeared at the end of Marvel Studios’ Eternals, and while he hasn’t been back yet, Kevin Feige isn’t ruling out a return.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Feige was asked about the future of certain characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Styles. The head of Marvel Studios said that both parties were “excited” about a potential return, but didn’t tease much more.

“He’s excited, we’re excited, we will see,” Feige answered. “We’ve introduced a lot of new characters in a lot of movies and a lot of tags. Where do the tag folk reappear? That’s a good question.”

In a post-credits scene in Eternals, Styles appeared as Eros, the brother of Thanos. In the comics, Starfox/Eros, created by Jim Starlin, first appeared in 1973’s The Invincible Iron Man #55 as the brother of Thanos. While he’s an Eternal who was born on Titan, Starfox has also been a member of the Avengers and recently played a major role in 2022’s Judgment Day event.

What do we know about Eternals 2?

While there’s been no official word from Marvel Studios as to whether or not a sequel to Chloé Zhao’s Eternals is in development, Zhao and other cast members have previously said they’re open to returning for another Eternals project.

In August 2022, Patton Oswalt, who also appears in the Eternals mid-credit scene with Styles, said an Eternals sequel was in the works. However, he later clarified in February 2023 that he was mistaken and had been “catfished by the internet.”

Feige has spoken about Styles’ MCU return in the past. As he told MTV News in June 2022, “The adventures of Eros and Pip is something that’s very exciting for us.”

Eternals is currently streaming on Disney+. Styles can also be seen in 2017’s Dunkirk (directed by Christopher Nolan), 2022’s Don’t Worry Darling (directed by Olivia Wilde), and 2022’s My Policeman (directed by Michael Grandage).
