What is The Nun 2?

“1956 – France. A priest is murdered. An evil is spreading. The sequel to the worldwide smash hit follows Sister Irene as she once again comes face-to-face with Valak, the demon nun,” reads the synopsis.

The Nun 2 is directed by Michael Chaves (The Curse of La Llorona, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It) from a screenplay written by Richard Naing and Ian Goldberg. Joining Farmiga in the horror sequel are Jonas Bloquet, Storm Reid, Anna Popplewell, and Katelyn Rose Downey, with Aarons as Valak. The latter is currently suing Warner Bros. for allegedly hiding the truth about the amount of The Nun merchandise sold.

The film is executive produced by Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, Victoria Palmeri, Gary Dauberman, Michael Clear, Judson Scott, and Michael Polaire, with James Wan and Peter Safran producing. The creative team also consists of cinematographer Tristan Nyby, production designer Stéphane Cressend, editor Gregory Plotkin, visual effects producer Sophie A. Leclerc, costume designer Agnès Béziers, and composer Marco Beltrami.
