Stephen King, Guillermo del Toro Praise No One Will Save You

No One Will Save You, the alien home invasion thriller starring Kaitlyn Dever, has garnered praise from two prominent voices in the sci-fi and horror community: Stephen King and Guillermo del Toro.

King praised the nearly dialogue-free film on his Twitter, calling it “truly unique” and citing an old episode of The Twilight Zone as the only reference to the original sci-fi film.

del Toro also appreciated No One Will Save You, explaining how a theme of Catholic dogma “serves as a narrative backbone” in a Twitter thread.

“NO ONE WILL SAVE YOU. You will save yourself through this,” del Toro wrote. “Any human-scale attempt at suppressing one side, results in strife. Because the universe doesn’t play nice. Period. I think the key is the moment of “communion” through the eucharist of the alien identity pod. It is profound.”
