.The coming-of-age horror classic Ginger Snaps is getting a new Blu-ray release thanks to the Ginger Snaps Trilogy Limited Edition Blu-ray set.
Second Sight Films is releasing the trilogy in a blood-red box this October and throwing in a bunch of extras old and new including several commentary tracks.
Gingers Snaps follows the story of two outsider sisters Ginger (Katharine Isabelle) and Brigitte (Emily Perkins) whose lives get a whole lot harder when Ginger is attacked by a wild animal the night she gets her first period. The aftermath of these events see Ginger not only miraculously healed in swift fashion, but now in possession of a brutal, angry werewolf form.

The Ginger Snaps movies are some of the most underrated horror movies of this century, and have built up a healthy following over the years. So it’s nice to see them receiving such special treatment with this set.
