Dogman Poster: Caleb Landry Jones Finds Solace in His Furry Friends

The official Dogman poster for the upcoming action drama has been released, featuring acclaimed actor Caleb Landry Jones (Get Out, Nitram) surrounded by furry friends.

The film will have its world premiere at the upcoming Venice International Film Festival, followed by a French theatrical release on September 27. A U.S. release date has not been set.

“I hope this movie that has convinced us will also convince those spectators and critics who think that Luc Besson only directs action movies, this is much more than that,” Venice International Film Festival head Alberto Barbera said in a statement. “I am not telling you anything about the plot, it is really surprising, it is a monument to an extraordinary American actor Caleb Landry Jones who makes a performance that will become memorable. You will discover this very soon.”

Who’s Involved in Dogman?

Dogman is written and directed by French filmmaker Luc Besson, best known for his work on Léon: The Professional, The Fifth Element, Taken, and Lucy. The film is produced by Virginie Besson-Silla and Steve Rabineau.

The film stars Caleb Landry Jones (Get Out, Nitram) as Douglas, who will find his salvation through the love of his dogs after enduring physical abuse as a child. Joining him are Christopher Denham (Argo), Marisa Berenson (Cabaret), Clemens Schick (Arctic Circle), Michael Garza (Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark), and Jojo T. Gibbs (Fresh).
